In order to fix the issues, right-click the Computer/ My Computer icon, select Manage and open Device Manager. Expand the Universal Serial Bus controllers list, right-click on the driver and select Uninstall. Reboot your computer, connect the camera to your PC using the USB cable, press Scan for hardware changes icon from Device Manager and check if the software is recognizing the camera. If not, try uninstalling the application and then installing it again. If you still have issues, I suggest you transfer the files manually. Open the camera drive from My Computer/Computer and transfer the photos using copy/paste feature.
