I can't install Ad-aware 8.0.

I have tried to download and install Ad-aware Free 8.0 several times, but it informed me that I only have Windows 2000. I currently have Windows XP Pro and not the earlier version. What can I do?

Most Probably due to firewall configuration or some other security program is not allowing. Check it. :)

Since the application is free of charge and the version 8.0 is no longer available, I suggest you download and install Ad-aware 9.6 from the official web page. As you can see, it is fully compatible with Windows 8.1, Windows 8, Windows 7, Windows Vista and Windows XP on both 32 and 64-bit architecture.
