I am using BBS 3.0 application software to communicate with Broadcom processor (I2C interface). Initially the system worked well, but after a few power cycles, it is unable to communicate with the processor reporting "An I/O time out error". Checked the power and I2C signal status, everything is fine. Could anyone help in this regard? What are the possibilities? Is there any user guide is there to go through?

I would like to recommend checking the drivers and the software. The I/O indicates a communication error because the device can't be reached to respond to the request. Check the drivers and perform a rep-install if want and then initiate a new connection. Secondly, make sure you have the studio configured properly to use the default ports or you will receive the same error. In some other cases, it's recommended to power cycle the device, but after the first power cycle, you should disconnect everything for a few minutes.
