In order to fix the issue, go to Start, type dxdiag and open the utility. Click the Display tab and check if the DirectX Features (DirectDraw Acceleration, Direct3D Acceleration and AGP Texture Acceleration) are enabled. If one of them is not activated, click the Enable button. Also, on the Display tab, check your video card model and download and install the latest drivers available from the developer web page. If the problem persists, update DirectX and reinstall the application. If you still receive the error, you will need to purchase another video card that supports the camera resolution and D3D function.
