My PC is set to record in mono mode instead of stereo.

My PC is currently set to record in mono mode instead of stereo. How do I change it to stereo?

Try Control panel> Sounds and Audio devices> Volume tab. Click Advanced... on Device Volume. See what control options are available to you since they differ from one audio app to another. This should bring up a box called Volume Control. Click on menu item , then pick Properties on the drop-down menu, you may be able to make the changes you need here.

In order to fix the issue, go to Start > Control Panel > Hardware and Sound and select Manage audio devices from the Sound group. After that, select your audio device and press the Configure button. Click Stereo from the Audio channels box, press Next, select full-range speakers, click Next and then Finish.
