You don't need to install anything in order to transfer songs from the computer to your phone. All you need to do is connect the phone using the USB cable and wait for several seconds. After the device is connected, select Mass Storage from its screen and Windows will automatically find and install the drivers. After that, you can drag and drop the files to the phone drive from My Computer/Computer or right-click on the song you want to transfer and select Send to > Phone/Mass Storage device. When the transferring process is finished, right-click on the phone icon from System Tray and select Safely Remove.
If the phone is not recognized by your computer, press Windows + R key combination, type devmgmt.msc and click OK. Expand the Universal Serial Bus controllers list, right click on the driver and select Uninstall. After that, reboot your PC, connect the phone using the USB cable and press Scan for hardware changes icon from Device Manager.
