If the software asks for a password, then it means the Parental Lock is enabled. You can ask the one who set it up, or simply remove the driver from Device Manager (Start > Run > devmgmt.msc) and uninstall it. Go to Control Panel > Programs and features and locate DWC in the list. Remove it then reboot the computer and reinstall it again and you should have access to the webcam.
