I have a Power User who just received a new Dell computer in the office. While trying to re-install HiPath Observer on her machine I get the following problem. The program installs fine, but I can't launch the program under her login credentials. I get an error that says, "THERE IS NO (CORRECT) ACCESS TO THE REGISTRY. PLEASE CONTACT YOUR SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR.". However, it has to be a permissions problem as I can log into her machine as an admin and launch the program with now problems. I've tried giving full control to the EXE file, and some other issues, but nothing seems to work. Is there a way to fix this?

If you tried to give full control over the EXE file, and it didn't work, you can try to delete the User profile that can't run the program. This might be corrupted. Then make another account, with the same rights, set the appropriate privileges for this one from right clicking the EXE file > Properties > Security, and then run the program. If the same behavior is encountered, log in with the Administrator, open the program and go under File > Agent Profile > HiPath ProCenter Administrator Guide to learn more about the application's needs or check the Help menu.
