Acer eLock Management problems.

I don't see an answer to Pat's question. I have no password and no devices are locked but suddenly there is a notice next to Removable Storage Devices that the Status is Unauthorized. The Authorize button won't work. This is the second time this happened. Last time I lost everything on my hard drive. Is there any way to activate the Authorize button?

In order to fix the problem, I recommend you check again to see if Removable Storage Devices is set to Unlocked. If this option is set to Unlocked, I recommend you update Acer eLock Management to the latest version. This should enable the Authorize button. Just navigate to Acer Drivers and Manuals page, identify your computer model, select your operating system and download and install the update for the software from the Applications tab. After that use the instructions that you can find in the official user guide to authorize the devices. You can find the necessary steps at page 3.
