How to load calculations using IES VE?

I am building a model using Revit MEP 2008 and I'm trying to use the direct link with IES VE for loading calculations. I found out that the loaded calculations are not very accurate. What should I do? What is the correct procedure to load calculations using IES VE? Do I have to input in IES VE the data that I couldn't input in Revit MEP 2008 (such as U values)?
