This seems to be an installation problem. In this case I would like to recommend to perform a repair of the software. You can trigger this event by going into the Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs or Programs (if you're using Windows Vista and higher) and click on the Uninstall button next to the Folder Lock. Instead of uninstall please choose Repair and restart the computer if it asks. This method keeps the registry items and the master password so you can unlock your files in the future.
