I have the same problem regarding data connection. Customer care didn't give any help at all. Was your problem solved?

related to an answer for: The Internet starts to work automatically on my Samsung Champ GT-C3312. How to turn it off?

Please go to Settings > Connection and disable any data connection available and the phone will stop connection to Data Services.
