Which software do I need: Art Link or Art Design for embroidery attachment to Bernina 440QE?

I purchased a machine running Windows 8 and need to upgrade my software. Do I need to upgrade to ArtLink or Art Design? I have an embroidery attachment to Bernina 440QE.

Art Design works best with Bernina 440QE so you'll need to upgrade to Art Design.
