An image is cropped on its sides when projected on the Promethean board

We just got new Lenovo laptops for our school. When I project an image on my Promethean board, it is cropped on its sides. I cannot make an image bigger to fit the screen without zooming out and then the fonts can't be read. I did not get this problem with my old laptop.

The problem is with the aspect ration of the output resolution from your laptop and the compatible display resolutions that the projector supports. You will need to match these resolutions. Most likely, your new laptop is using a new and improved displaying scheme. Try to set the same resolution resolution on both devices, one that is supported as aspect ratio.
