Is it possible to import .ftw files created in Family Tree to Family Tree Maker 2012?

I have .ftw files created in old Family Tree software. Can I import them to Family Tree Maker 2012 (German version)?

Sure, just click on New Plan > New Tree > Import from an existing file > Browse > Locate the file > Change the name of the tree and click OK. Please make sure that the version of Family Tree is higher than 4.0 because otherwise you will not be able to import the files.
