Does Python run on Parallels Desktop 8 for Mac?

I am thinking about buying Parallels Desktop 8. Does anyone know if Python runs on Parallels?

Python is available for Windows, Linux and Mac. You don't need to buy Paralells Dekstop in order to make it work on Mac.
