How can I kill a process on my computer?

How can I delete a program from my computer? Every time I try to do it I am told that 'The program is running'.

Please press CTRL + Left Shift + Escape to start Task Manager and go to Process. Locate the executable from your application and click on End Task then try to uninstall the application and it will work.
