Is DeskPins compatible with Windows 8 operating system?

The application does now have support for Windows 8 but the main website is down or discontinued but I managed to download the latest version of the application and I must say that it works flawlessly in Windows 7 x32. It does not need additional system resources or some kind of compatibility. Give it a try and see the behavior because I am positively sure that will work in Windows 8.

Yep, I just got a new pc with Windows 8, installed Deskpins 1.30 and it does not work! Disappointed :(

Deskpins 1.30 does not work on Windows 8 Pro x64. Compatibility modes have no effect - it just doesn't work :( A sad end to this useful program

I tried also and it does not work, very upsetting as this is probably the best 3rd party programs for windows.

Another disappointed Windows 8 user noting that DeskPins does not appear to be compatible. It downloads and installs but does not allow you to enter pin mode and actually pin any windows.

DeskPins 1.30, as noted above, will -install- into tray under Windows OS, but does not actually function (you can't actually pin anything).

I hope this very minor system bug is fixed ASAP, it is a wonderful little program and should take a very few minutes to fix.

Microsoft sure is great but they sure can screw stuff up. Windows 8 is horrid.
