Windows 8 on my HP 2000

I have Windows 8 on my new HP 2000 laptop but I cannot make the touchscreen work. Is this a compatible option for the HP 2000 laptop?

It doesn't work because the laptop does not feature a touchscreen which you can use with Windows 8.
