I have just purchased a Toshiba laptop from a private owner and have loaded some of my Windows 7 games on it, but every time I play a game or look for images on the Internet my screen goes black and then comes back on with a bullet stating: display driver for Intel Graphics Accelerator for Windows Vista has recovered from a serious whatever.

Why do I have a Windows Vista driver on my Windows 7 laptop? How do I know which driver to download to correct this problem?

I have also downloaded an update from this site for my MTN internet modem and now have endless problems with it? Why?

If the laptop you bought has already an installed driver you should remove it using its uninstall method and then check on Toshiba's website for the model of your laptop and then you should be able to download the correct driver for your Windows Vista operating system. Using 3rd party drivers from unknown sources may lead to failure and problems like the ones you currently have.

Also, you should download the driver for Windows 7 and remove the one for Windows Vista. Incompatibility between drivers may lead to system failure, hang-ups, system errors and so on.
