Is Mathcad 2001 compatible with Windows 7 (32bit and/or 64bit)? If not, is there an update which can solve this problem? If so, what would it cost?

The released versions of Mathcad are as follows: 8, 2000, 2001, 2001i, 11, 12, 13, 14 and 15. As I can see, 2001 version is not compatible with Windows 7 but latest version (15) is compatible with Windows 7 (32 and 64bit). The price is established when you want to buy the product because you will be asked about modules and other components. In single user mode the application costs approximately 1900 $.

Hello, you can use Mathcad 5.0, 7.0, 8.0, 2001 and Mathcad 2001i on Windows 7 Pro/Ent/Ultimate 64 bit.
(Most likely also Mathcad 2000)

But you need the XP-Mode for Windows 7.

After a direct installation of Mathcad 5 and 7 failed, I used the XP-Mode.

This will allow you to use the software on Windows 7.

Mathcad 14 and 15 will not install on windows 8.1.
Consequently mathcad prime is useless on 8.1 as it depends on 15 being intalled
