Extracting Data from UMST

The other day my computer wouldn’t boot and I had do a reset and recovery which saved a large-sized (600 GB) folder labeled UMST, which stands for User State Migration Tool, which includes Mig files, on my external drive. I have no idea how to get my data back on my computer.
