Hi, Its M. Javed from Pakistan. I'm trying to READ the MODBUS RTU Registers of the PROCON, Single Channel Vehicle LOOP Detector Model LD-120 using this Tester software but not successful. Could anyone help?? Regards

As Per the given datasheet of the PROCON ELECTRONICS - South Africa, Single Channel Vehicle LOOP Detector Model LD-120;

The MOD BUS mode used is the RTU mode with the following set-up: BAUD RATE 9600 DATA BITS 8 PARITY NONE STOP BITS 1

There are 4 types of variables which can be accessed from the module. Each module has one or more of these data variables.

Type Start Address Variable

1 00001 Digital Outputs 2 10001 Digital Inputs 3 30001 Input registers (Analog) 4 40001 Output registers (Analog)

But No SLAVE Address is mentioned.

I connect the Loop Detector via RJ45 type RS232 Serial Port available on the front of the Loop detector using USB to Serial data Cable.

How to READ / WRITE / POLL all the RTU Registers using this MOD BUS TESTER Software.. Anyone works on the same LOOP Detector..Please help..

Yes, it is possible to read the MODBUS RTU registers of the PROCON Single Channel Vehicle LOOP Detector Model LD-120 using a Modbus Tester software. However, additional information such as the slave address is required in order to properly communicate with the device.

Hi Dubey,

Could you please share the Slave Address, if you may tried earlier successfully. Thanks
