Ho to ransfer photos from camera to computer?

Software opens, camera is connected to MacBook Air (M1), click icon to get images and transfer seems to begin but does not

To transfer photos from camera to computer, make sure the camera is connected to the MacBook Air (M1) and click the icon to get the images. The transfer should then begin.
