How do I acquire FMPro 5.0 and convert files to version 19?

I bought FMPro 19, assuming that it would open files from earlier versions, but it won't.

You can use the FileMaker Pro Conversion Tool to convert files from version 5.0 to version 19. You can download the tool from the FileMaker website.
