I downloaded sedlog and the latest version of java but it doesn't work. Why?

I have macOS Big Sur, i downloaded sedlog and the latest version of java but it doesn't work. The sed log initial screen appears and then closes immediately.

I have macOS Ventura, same problem, initial screen shows up and dissapears.
