Why are our loggers not displaying data in graph format while in the field?

While in the field collecting data we came across an issue where the data from our loggers in our well would not display nor collect while in the field. After returning to the lab a few days later we tried again and the data collected into the software and let us export just fine. So what problem did we come across? Could it be related to the software? the loggers are functional and are having no issues now as far as we know.
