How to download Blackshot for free with no viruses?

I got a new laptop recently, and I've been warned not to download anything that includes viruses. I already have the page where I can download it, but I'm not sure if I'm supposed to be playing online. I don't want to play online, I just want to download the game and play it on my laptop. Can anyone help? My laptop is Acer Aspire V5.

The game is from the MMO category which means that you will not be able to play it offline. It is using the Internet because it's an Internet game. Also, there is no way you could get infected while playing games online no matter the computer you use.
