Which will do a better cleaning of my PC of unused/unwanted programs, and provide better protection?

Norton 360 is an antivirus solution with additional protection features. TuneUp Utilities is a tweaking utility that you use to customize various aspects of your Windows operating system. You can use them both, one for protection and one for cleaning unnecessary files and other temporary files, registry keys, invalid ActiveX entries etc.

Of course, Norton 360 provides protection and cleaning which Tuneup Utilities is lacking because it doesn't have active virus protection.
