I have a problem downloading "grib" files into my 32-bit operating system (Samsung NC110).

The UGRIB (Free world weather forecasting application) program appeared to install correctly. When selecting an area (file) for downloading into a selected folder it shows that it is downloading the file, but nothing seems to arrive. Is it because the Samsung NC110 has a 32bit operating system or could it be my Norton Antivirus software? UGRIB runs fine on my main computer that also runs in Windows 7, but is a 64bit operating system.

Most likely the Antivirus solution is preventing the application from downloading its necessary files so you can view the data. Based on my experience, I know that Norton is very restrictive and tampers with certain operations without asking your interaction. Please disable it while you perform these operations and then try to download the data again.
