Stop calc from changing Mg (megagram) to mg (milligram)

I am trying to write Mg, short for megagram in calc. But calc changes it to mg, short for milligram. How do I stop this?
(while still being able to also write mg)

Yes, it is possible to stop OpenOffice.org Calc from automatically changing "Mg" to "mg." You can achieve this by changing the cell format to "Text" for the cells where you want to input "Mg." This will prevent Calc from interpreting it as milligrams and keep it as "Mg" as you intended.
