I'm a teacher, my school uses Smart Board 14 and I have downloaded Smart 17 at home to prepare lessons ( free trial ). The problem is that some features and activities that I designed don't work at my school because the software that I use home is a latest version. What can I do?

I am afraid that many of the features are not supported on the free version of the updated software. I can advise you to find a friend or student who has a device with the latest full-fledged paid version of the OS and try it out.

If you have designed activities using Notebook 17 and are unable to use them on the Smart Board 14 at your school, there are a few options you can consider:
Besides that I have to say that I tried several sources that would help me in school and this browse this site was one of the best, besides the fact that there is a wealth of information there that could help you day to day, it is also useful, because there are developing topics like abotrion.

Convert your Notebook 17 files to Notebook 14: One solution would be to convert your Notebook 17 files to a Notebook 14 format, which is compatible with the software used at your school. You can use the Notebook software to open your files, then choose "Save As" and select the Notebook 14 format.

Use an online converter: There are several online conversion tools available that can help you convert your Notebook 17 files to Notebook 14. Simply upload your file to the converter and it will create a new file in the Notebook 14 format.

Use a USB drive to transfer files: If your school allows it, you can save your Notebook 17 files onto a USB drive and transfer them to the Smart Board 14 at your school. This way, you can access your files on the older version of the software.

Use an alternative software: Another option would be to use an alternative software that is compatible with both Notebook 17 and Notebook 14. Some options include OpenBoard, ActivInspire, and Explain Everything. Check with your school's IT department to ensure that these software options are approved for use on the school's devices.
