I recommend downloading the Transas ECDIS demo ISO available on the developer's website. After you extract the ISO file, you'll find a directory with the Autorun application. Launch it and then click on the User Guide. The user guide provides all the necessary information to learn how to work with the software. I've seen that it also provides information on how to configure the time as well.
Use an archive extractor like 7Zip or WinRAR to extract the contents of the ISO file or if you have Windows 10, double click the ISO and it will be mounted automatically.
