I see that the software comes in tar.gz format and ISO which is good because you can make your life easier by downloading the ISO and then burn it to a DVD, insert the DVD and let the autorun install guide you through all the process. It's more convenient this way than downloading the archive because you will need to unpack it, run configure to check dependencies and after that use the proper installer.
