How do install Wecon PLC software on Windows 10?

Simply download the installer for Wecon PLC Editor and use the right click on the setup package and choose Run as Administrator. This will give enough permissions to install the necessary files on the system partition. However, to properly install the drivers, you'll have to disable the Driver Enforcement Policy.

  • Disable Driver Enforcement: Start > Settings > Update and Recovery > Recovery > Advanced Startup > Restart > Troubleshoot > Advanced options > Startup Settings > Press key 7 > Restart.

After this procedure, restart the installer of Wecon PLC Editor and check the driver installation as well.

I want to use this software because I see it simple and user friendly and I like it and I have a number ready for programming
