Accidentally deleted important photos and contacts from your iPhone 5? Erased all data by restoring iPhone 5 to factory settings? Don't worry. With Dr.Fone (iPhone 5), you can easily get back your lost files.

Dr.Fone for iPhone 5 is designed to recover contacts, messages, notes, safari bookmarks and more from your iPhone 5 directly even without backup. Besides, if you have backed up iPhone 5 with iTunes before data loss, it will also help you extract the lost from iTunes backup file of your iPhone 5.

I don't have a iPhone but from what I understand if the photos where synced with Itunes then You may be able to recover them, but you may also need an iPhone Photo Recovery tool for the iPhone. If not synced with Itunes then I am pretty sure the photos are history, sorry to say.

This is what I did and got my photos back. I had the same problem today and had just updated Facebook app and then suddenly got spit out of mail app. Rebooted and lost all my photos. Did not have iCloud. My solution:

on iPhone settings Mail, Contacts, Calenders - iCloud - contacts set to off
on PC, downloaded and opened up iCloud panel.
signed in with my Apple ID.
chose to only upload Outlook contacts, calenders and tasks
wait till everything is on the cloud
on iPhone settings Mail, Contacts, Calenders - iCloud - contacts now set to on
set calenders to on
look in contacts and they are all there

YES! once your phone has restored from backup like icloud the first time you go to use the app it will act like it is starting for the first time. you have to put in a pass code again and stuff MAKE SURE YOU USE THE SAME AS YOU DID BEFORE

then create an album MAKE SURE YOU USE THE SAME ALBUM NAME AS BEFORE AND SAME PASS CODE

then open the album and put in your pass code and there ya go they should show up.

Now if you have more than 2 albums I dont know as I did but only my first 2 restored because the rest are add ons within the app.

Good LUCK!!! IM USING iOS 10 beta right now on iPhone 6

  1. If you store the photos in the internal storage of phone, what you need is a reliable Android/iPhone Recovery Software. Just remind you that some software requires you to root the phone before recovery.
  2. If the deleted photos are stored in a SD card, you can try RePicvid free photo recovery software to get them back.
Either the method can solve your problem. But you should remember not to save anything to the phone or SD card. Do the recovery on computer and back them up.
