I just upgraded to the Pro version and now it won't open any files without crashing.

I'm using my Surface Pro 3 and the video I'm working with is a little over four hours long but the free version worked just fine. It's only now that I paid 20 dollars to help the conversion process go faster that it won't even open a file without crashing. Seems like a bit of a scam to me, are there any solutions?

I checked the official website, and the developer list version 5.8 as the latest one. Among the fixes there is something mentioned there regarding the crashes: Speed-up mode crashes and audio filters failures eliminated.

Therefore, access the official website to download the latest version. You can update the software even if it's already installed on your device.
