I can't open my video correctly.

I have a video in .flv format that's running time is about an hour. When I try to open the video with the software it shows the time to be around 18 minutes. I opened it with Flash Video Player and it opened showing the proper duration. What went wrong and how can I fix it?

The problem with FLV playback is related to the codecs installation. My advice is to install another set of codecs and remove the ones installed in your computer. There is a package known Combined Community Codec Pack that offers quality codecs. By default, when the files are registered the VSDC Free Video Editor will automatically detect the correct one and use it.
