The latest update for BGCN TV was in 2015. It's questionable if the software and service reliability can be trusted anymore. I recommend checking the built-in Firewall to see if the software is allowed to connect to the Internet. If you still have issues, then getting in touch with the developers is a must since they can provide the correct status of their service.
