Using my HP desktop computer with 8 GB of memory. Attempted to rip the movie NINE LIVES (UPC 024543274964), Selected Title 1 00850 1:26:49 MPEG4 1080p Chapters(10) 16.9. I am saving the file to an external drive (Seagate 2TB) which I have used for this process for over two years now (using a different software - Leawo Blu-ray Ripper) and have had no problems, other than the fact that I can only get a 2 channel audio output. I have selected under Audio Streams English DTS-HD XLL(multi-chan) and under the Output I selected Vendor: Apple and product Apple TV (I do not have the latest Apple TV-4). I then click on the START button, and after 1 min and 4 seconds a pop up appears stating: "FAILED TO RIP".

I have also tried the only other Input which gives the same stats as the first one (Title 2 00850 1:26:49 MPEG4 1080p Chapters(10) 16.9)

Are there other settings I should choose before clicking on the START button?

I've visited the official website of the Ideal Media Solution software and it appears the interface is pretty simple without many things to configure. Simply insert the Blu-ray DVD, select output, and start the ripping process. I couldn't find anything other than the mentioned things here, therefore I believe the software is faulty, the DVD is scratched or the settings are wrong.

Since testing isn't possible because I lack a Blu-ray reader and player, I recommend reporting this issue to the developer. They recommend sending an email with the details on the following address: support@idealdvdcopy.com
