What phone number am I calling from?

If I make a phone call on Viber, does it use my number and am I calling my contacts personal phone number or their Viber number?

Viber uses your number to call your friends that are using Viber as well. If they have you on their contact list, only the name will appear, otherwise your number will be shown instead. When using Viber Out, the contact you'll call will see a number given by VoIP's Viber servers.
