If you can't remove the message from the desktop, then simply uninstall the application and run a copy of AdwCleaner along with Revo Uninstaller. AdwCleaner will make sure there isn't something bad installed anymore and Revo deletes all the traces of the program.
Additionally, try changing your wallpaper because the program might've edited the wallpaper adding that message.
