How to save applications on external SD Card?

It's frustrating. My smartphone has small memory space. To extend it, I bought an external SD Card. Now I have a problem with exporting apps to that location. Can someone help me how to do so?

Once the card has been detected by the Android operating system, go to Settings > Applications > Applications Manager > All. Tap on each app that you've downloaded then a button called Move to SD Card should be available. Tap it and wait for the OS to move the application to the SD card.

Note: This might not work for all the apps since the developers have to enable the Move to SD Card option.
