There is no special procedure to install the cable driver on your PC. Simply download the installation package and launch it. Finish the install procedure then connect the phone using the available cable and Windows will configure the device and the connection mode based on the installed drivers.
Also, it might be necessary to run it as Administrator or disable Driver Enforcement in version of Windows newer than Windows 7.
To disable that, follow this: Start > Settings > Update and Recovery > Recovery > Advanced Startup > Restart > Troubleshoot > Advanced options > Startup Settings > Press key 7 > Restart.
