My webcam is working without my interaction

I have a Dell Inspiron N5010 laptop, my webcam turns on without my interaction. I had uninstalled its support software but the flash was still turned on for a while and then it stopped by itself.

I don't know what the problem is because I wasn't using messenger or Skype.

Dell products use an application named Dell Webcam Central to control what is happening with the webcamera. Using a 3rd party application to manage these webcams could lead to problems like the one you are facing. I advise that you should remove the 3rd party application you used to control the webcam and install the official application to configure it properly. Dell Webcam Central is the right application you need to use for a proper configuration of the webcam.

You will see that after you install the official supported software the webcam will return to its normal parameters.
