iFree Skype recorder cannot be played on specified MCI device.

Question

I recorded a call using iFree Skype Recorder, but when I tried to listen to it, this message came out: "The specified file cannot be played on the specified MCI device. The file may be corrupt, not in the correct format, or no file." What happened to the file? Would I still be able to retrieve the file?

I recommend getting in touch with the developers in order to report this issue which appears to be a bug that prevents you from installing. Typically, the simplest way is to redownload the installation package and then restart it, because this could be possible the installation package is corrupted.
