I have installed ATCS Monitor and have Windows 10 OS. I have tried running the program and it starts to open then shuts down. I also tried to open as Administrator with the same result. I also shut down all firewalls. Please let me know if you have any suggestions.

The software won't run on Windows 10, no matter the tweaks applied. I've checked the official website and it appears that you can run the software only on Windows 95, 98, ME, NT 4.0, 2000, XP or Vista. There is nowhere mentioned about Windows 10 which means it's not compatible with. The only way to run the application is to install Windows XP in virtualization mode.

You will need an application that gives you this possibility (see below) and an original Windows XP installation disc/ISO.

I have ATCS Monitor running on Windows 10 both in server mode and in client mode where my own radios feed into my ATCS Monitor instance, allowing me to monitor rail traffic on the UP main from my home between V290 and V310 . It works well under Win 10 and will even run under win 11 although it has some quirky behavior under Win11 that convinced me to fall back to win10. Usually if it comes up then comes right down, it will log the problem in a file in the ATCS Monitor directories.
