HP automatic update wiped out my computer's abiity to view Google Chrome home page.

Immediately following an HP update, my computer will no longer access the Google homepage. I just get a black screen. Sometimes HP updates crash with Microsoft and/or Internet search engines. How do I reverse the "update"?

There is no need to reverse the update. Simply access the Google Chrome settings and set the homepage back to as it previously were. Press the three lines (hamburger menu) under the X button on the upper right and then go to Settings. On the On Startup section, tick the third option and select the homepage you desire or input a new one.
