This application does hard subtitles. Once the subtitles have been enabled and bundled with the entire movie, then there is no way to deselect them when that movie is played in a certain video player. If you check the screenshot of the software you will see there is a field called subtitle. It's used to specify the SRT file that will be hard coded into the movie.
