How to save an image with all its details such as exposure?

I have a MATLAB code to do post processing on my images which needs some information like exposure time from the image. The code automatically reads the data from the image. I used to use a DSLR camera previously and that information was automatically embedded with the photo so I could see them when I opened its properties. Please let me know what to do. Thank you so much.

You might have to read the available manuals, because I couldn't find anything about this procedure. If you're using custom code and your own procedure, it might not be that easy to find a solution, since you are the only one who compiled and used the code. However, I do recommend checking the manual of the software using the link posted below.

It has been reported that in many cases, common questions and answers to problems were found in this guides: https://en.ids-imaging.com/manuals-ueye-software.html
